  1. Check that I am able to accommodate your request by reaching me (phone/text/email) with the number of pages and your deadline. You may reach me Monday-Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET if you need a quick response.

  2. Please remember to complete the Court Reporter Preference Sheet so we can more easily work together.

  3. I will send you an email verifying that your job is scheduled, the turnaround time you requested, and the rate.

  4. You will send me an email with your clean, scoped, and turn-in ready transcript in PDF format, again verifying your deadline.

  5. I will open the transcript ensuring that it has come through the PDF and email process in a readable format.

  6. I will send you a Confirmation Email that ensures I am ready to proofread your transcript. At that time the “turnaround clock” starts.

  7. Upon completion of proofreading, I return your PDF transcript with annotations in red and blue text and yellow highlighter. You will receive the pages with annotations.

  8. You will open your annotated transcript pages in the latest Adobe Reader and compare them to your transcript copy, making changes as you see fit.

  9. As a courtesy, please email me after you’ve received and opened the transcript, so that I know that all is well on your end.
