Transcript Proofreading:

After receiving your PDF transcript, I will carefully and methodically review the entire document. Corrections and suggestions will be marked directly on your PDF with red or blue ink and yellow highlighter. With my eye for detail and well-honed research skills, I will ensure to annotate your transcript with:

• Accuracy

• Consistency

• Context

• Punctuation

• Spelling

Your personal selections, as recorded on the Court Reporter’s Information & Preference Sheet, along with your preferred rule book and dictionary, will be used to proof your unique transcript.

Only the annotated pages will be returned to you, making it easier and more efficient for you to locate the annotation and make changes to your transcript as you see fit.

Additional Services:

If you are a new court reporter and are tasked with scoping your own work, you may be overwhelmed. I can help you improve your scoping skills by offering the added service of typing blue notes below the printed line. Blue notes will include: rules, dictionary references, explanation of punctuation and/or grammar, and website citations. This service is offered with standard turnaround time only. The expectation is that you will learn from the blue notes and improve your scoping skills. If I note that your skills are not improving, I may need to charge extra for this service.
